Every time the Iraq war ends a life, like Enterprise resident Carl Raines son who was blown to pieces in Iraq last week, for no damn good reason, we must compel ourselves to examine our national sanity and our own state of mental illness as we silently sit by and let evil prevail because good men and women no longer have a conscience.

Raines son who was on his 2nd tour of Iraq as a Lance Cpl Marine rose from JROTC cadet private at Enterprise High School to cadet major and commander of the drill team. The EHS team won a national championship under Raines leadership. Sgt. Major Johnny Snodgrass, a longtime JROTC instructor at EHS, said Raines' devotion to the U.S. Marines did not suprise him, he was just that dedicated as a cadet. Raines mother said she was proud of him; we are proud of his service, "He loved being a Marine." The Raineses said their son a 2003 Enterprise High School graduate was dedicated to the cause that he fought for in Iraq. He believed in what he was doing, even though she and her husband may not have believed in the cause, he felt he was doing what was right for the country, for his comrades and for the people who had not before known true freedom.

Mr. Raines said that because his son was a sole surviving son he did not have to fight in Iraq but he volunteered to go. His father a Vietnam veteran, said dealing with the loss of his son is the worst thing he's had to endure. "I've lost a father, a mother and a brother. I saw friends die in Vietnam. None of that has ever had the impact of losing a son," he said. Now, alternating feelings of pride, anger and despair engulf him. Mr. Raines who also served in Desert Storm, said his son's death has made him want to fight again. "Now it's personal to me", he said. "Before it was abstract. But if I ever have another child. I'll talk them out of ever serving, I don't care what it takes. Nobody should have to go through this."

With Fort Rucker, the U.S. Army Aviation Center located less than 6 miles away, area high schools supply new recruits with JROTC programs aimed at twisting young minds into believeing dying young for the country is cool. Growing up here in the 50's and 60's we were all pushed into JROTC at Enterprise High School.

As a young man I remember dreaming about going to Vietnam, getting wounded and returning a hero. After attending dozens of my former friends military funerals in my late teens, the cold hard reality of death set in when I wittnessed a body bag opening at Searcy funeral home in Enterprise. It was a gruesome sight straight from Freddie's Friday the 13th Nightmare on Elm Street.

The occupant of that plastic body bag had been a U.S. Army helicopter pilot who collided mid-air with another chopper. The smell of his burned and charred flesh took weeks to leave my nose and mind. Every day the stench of death was with me and the visions in my mind were of his mutilated and mangled body, it was difficlut to believe that this guy was once my best friend. No one would ever again make me believe dying young in that manner was cool again.

Rubbing our noses in their poop the Bush Administration has banned photographing the body bags and caskets as a way of sanitizing us from their inhumanity and depraved violent acts against all nations. The body bag shipment dates are well kept guarded secrets here because the Bush Administration doesn't want a nasty show of all those dead boys and girls being plucked from black plastic bags with severed heads, arms ,fingers and limbs, occasionally dropping from the messy bags.

It is no secret now that a federal grand jury will in all likelihood indict Karl Rove, Ari Fleischer, Lewis "Scooter" Libby and Vice-President Dick Cheney within the next week. Hopefully, President Bush's indictment will not be far behind, but the real question looms as to who will seize the reigns of power in the United States, will we have Civil War?

George Prescott Bush, the Presidents grandfather had many business alliances with Hitler and benefitted financially from Hitler's Nazi Germany.

But it was George Herbert Walker Bush, Sr. who set in motion a plan during his tenure as Vice-President and then President of the United States to overthrow the elected government and establish a world-wide oligarchy for the worlds richest families. As Vice-President importation of cocaine grew by 1000% during his tenure despite establishment of tough new drug laws and incorporation of the federal DEA, Drug Enforcement Agency.

President Bush, Sr. was the man behind the plan to violate the Boland Amendment funding covert wars by the CIA from cocaine profits gained illegally by the sale of drugs to children and adults in America, hooking America into the Devils nightmare of constant desire.
